Tyre Frequently Asked Questions

How do i know when tyres need changing ?

Uneven tyre wear & tyre pressures cause many issues, and should be checked regularly, we offer a Free tyre check for customers.

Uneven or worn tyres can cause issues with the vehicle "pulling" to one side or another.

Loss of grip in damp & wet conditions when cornering can also indicate lower tyre tread.

Uneven tyre wear can also lead to a sensation of juddering through the steering wheel.

We offer a free tyre check so pop in or call us and we will advise on the condition for you and give you the best advice possible.

We are delighted to partner with the UK's largest network of tyre wholesalers which gives us access to practically every brand imaginable to suit every type of motoring and every budget from budget through to high performance & competition.

The legal minimum tread is 1.6mm but as tyre tread reduces so does the ability to stop quickly and also the grip reduces, many manufacturers reccomend changing at 3mm.
